Classic Baked Salmon for Keto Gains

Getting Keto Gains is all about protein, and salmon is a fantastic source of protein. The Mayo Clinic notes that salmon contains omega-3 fatty acids and is a great source of protein, which is sure to help with your Keto Gains! This is such a simple and delicious dinner, and we are excited to share it with you.


First, get ahold of some nice salmon filets, fresh lemon, a couple of garlic cloves and butter. Lots of butter! You'll want to get a baking pan covered in foil ready to cook this deliciousness. We recommend that you serve this melt-in-your mouth meal with a side of spinach or broccoli, both high fiber (needed for a healthy gut).

Ingredients

  • Several salmon filets

  • 1/2 stick of butter

  • 2 garlic cloves

  • 1 lemon

  • Salt

  • Pepper or Lemon Pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 425

  2. Melt butter in the microwave in a small bowl

  3. Mince or press garlic and add to butter

  4. Add a dash of salt to the butter

  5. Add a dash of pepper or lemon pepper to the butter

  6. Cut lemon in half and squeeze 1/2 lemon into butter

  7. Dredge salon in the butter mix for 5 minutes

  8. Place salmon on the foil-lined baking dish

  9. Bake on a medium/high shelf of the oven for 25 to 30 minutes, the fish should flake easily

  10. Slice the other half of the lemon for garnish, and serve!
